Most shopping sites optimize for merchandising. We optimize for decisions — laptop fit, key leash, water-bottle pocket, shipping to your country, and the quiet features buried in product copy.
Why this exists
Shoppers usually already know what they want. The hard part is expressing it. Retailer sites don't give you a language for “structured tote that stands upright, fits a 14″ laptop, and has a key leash.” Acquired Taste does.
We start with handbags. You still purchase on the designer's website — our job is the structured product information layer that makes comparison honest.
What we believe
- Decision attributes beat vibe tags. If it matters when you buy, it should be searchable.
- Designers are the source of truth. AI can draft specs; humans verify. Designer Verified means a human stood behind the structured product data. Brand verified means the brand confirmed its own page (values, size, shipping).
- We don't run checkout. We link out so you can buy where the brand sells.
- Brand values and shipping/returns policies are shopping decisions too — not footnote fluff.
